I joined the Department of Sociological Studies in 2017 as a PhD researcher, having completed a New Media degree at the University of Leeds. My research focuses on individuals’ mediated everyday practices in relation to WeChat. I was the administrator of the Digital Society Network at the University of Sheffield, the project assistant for the project- Public Trust in Data Driven Systems and AI Futures, a co-organiser of the Postgraduate Conference at the University of Sheffield, and I am an associate fellow of the HEA.

- Sharing and self-representation;
- Intimacy and privacy;
- Social media and digital platforms;
- Mobile culture and material culture.
