A mixed methods study of supervision practice and performance of frontline social workers and their managers in two contrasting Local Authorities in England
I am a practising social worker and am currently registered with the Health Care Professionals Council. I have been practising social work for more than twenty years. So far I have worked in three different countries that are, Zimbabwe, Australia (Victoria, Department of Human Services) and the UK. I have worked mainly with children and in particular in child protection work. I have worked as a frontline social worker and also held supervisory roles during my years of practice. I have and supervise students from different universities in all the countries I have worked in.
