The Research Review of the Department of Sociological Studies
Research Matters, the annual research review of the Department of Sociological Studies, is published each year to showcase our research and offer a closer look at what we do. More importantly, Research Matters aims to highlight the way in which the research undertaken by our academics engages with, incorporates, and impacts upon, different publics and communities. It covers research being carried out by staff at all stages of their career, from current PhD students to our most established academics. It demonstrates the work we do to influence, include and engage a wide audience on issues that matter and that affect us all.
The latest edition of Research Matters, which takes a closer look at our research activities carried out from 2016-17, is available now here.
