Professor Alan Walker and Dr Dan Holman present findings from EXTEND project at policy event in London

Professor Alan Walker and Dr Dan Holman presented findings from the EXTEND project at the Royal Institution in London on 3 December 2018.

EXTEND (Social Inequalities in Extending Working Life of an Ageing Workforce) is a European project examining the unequal distribution of opportunity and risk in relation to working longer, and the implications for social inequalities of extending working lives. The event was held in conjunction with the International Centre for Longevity UK and saw findings shared with a policy-oriented audience of over 100 people. The event follows a seminar held in Sheffield last month, organised with CROW/TAEN/LSE, where findings from the project regarding age management in health and social care were presented.
