Botanical Gardens, Clarkehouse Road
For those who have time to explore the surrounding areas, the Botanical Gardens are also about a 15 minute walk away. The gardens are open all year round (except for the Christmas holidays), entrance is free and they have a gift shop and tea room for your use. Endcliffe Park, Off Hunters Bar & Rustlings Road
Endcliffe Park is a short walk away from Endcliffe Village. The park is a popular family visitor destination especially when the weather is good! You can find further information on the Sheffield Council web pages here.
Weston Park & Museum, Western Bank
Further towards the City Centre is Weston Park & Museum. They are situated just up the hill from our main Firth Court building at University Square. Here you can wander at your leisure around the Park or find out the real history of Sheffield in the Museum - both are free entry and you can find further information here.
For those of you who may be extending your stay in Sheffield, the City is surrounded by sports, music and culture.
The City boasts sporting venues (including our two football teams Sheffield Wednesday & Sheffield United), music arenas, museums and theatres - details of which can be found at the Sheffield Tourist Information web site here.
For those who love the outdoors, Sheffield is also lucky enough to be just a short drive away to the beautiful Peak District. Here you can take in wide, open spaces and breathtaking views - as well as a variety of walks and trails for the more adventurous. The Peak District has a dedicated web site here.
