Signposting Support Requests
SSiD handles thousands of general student support enquiries a year – many on behalf of colleagues elsewhere in the University. When we are unable to fully answer an enquiry we will signpost students to other relevant information sources and services.
Support offered to students is focused and set within appropriate boundaries. SSiD provides a front-line information service for students and are expert in signposting to appropriate sources of support.
Student Online Support
SOS is a gateway, signposting students to general University guidance, self-help resources, and support services, both inside and outside the institution.
We recognise that things don't always go you'd expect, and we want to help you with any problems you might encounter. Student Online Support can guide you to the services you need when things take an unexpected turn.
