In certain circumstances you may need a University certificate in order to prove your student status.

How can I get a letter proving I'm a student at the University of Sheffield?

There are a variety of Certificates of Student Status available to current students to prove their University registration status which can be printed while you wait at SSiD.

Can I obtain an electronic copy of my Certificate of Student Status?

Yes, this is quite easy for us to do. We can send you a scanned copy of your certificate to your University email address. When requesting your document, just make a note that you would like an electronic copy, and we will email you.

Do other Certificates show Tuition Fees?

Yes. The Certificate of Student Status (Tuition Fee Summary) shows the Fees for the year but no payment information. You can get this on request from the front counter in SSiD.
