If you are already involved in Jewish life, want to explore other ways of being Jewish or are just reconnecting with your heritage and roots, you are sure to find a welcome in Sheffield. You don't have to know how to do anything, although if you are already religious/observant/active, there is a home for you here as well.
Please feel free to get in touch. You will be very welcome.

My name is Sara Moon and I am the Community Development Worker for Sheffield Jewish Reform. I grew up in a traditional Jewish home and community in Manchester and came to Sheffield to study Geography and Sociology at the University of Sheffield graduating in 2012 and spending the next year as the SU Development Officer.
I am passionate about Tikkun Olam/Repairing the World and acting on social and ecological justice issues from a Jewish perspective. I am also a keen food grower and lover of cycling!
Sheffield might have a relatively small Jewish population but it is a really exciting place to be Jewish. I really look forward to welcoming Jewish students in Sheffield...Do get in touch if you would like to get a cup of tea, come for a Shabbat meal, do some Jewish learning or hear more about the Sheffield Jewish Community.
