Current Students: How Do I Set Up My Support?

Make an appointment with an adviser

You will need to speak with an adviser before any support can be put in place for you. To make an appointment you can come to the Disability and Dyslexia Support Service reception on the ground floor of the Alfred Denny Building or you can call us on 0114 222 1303 or email disability.info@sheffield.ac.uk

For more information about support available go to What support is available?

If you have any questions about telling the University about your disability, see our page on Disclosing a Disability

Bring in evidence of your disability

We will also need evidence of your disability to be able to put most support in place. You can send this to us by post or email or bring to your first appointment. For more information about what type of evidence to provide see Providing evidence of your disability.

If you would like to be tested for dyslexia or dyspraxia go to our page on Dyslexia and Dyspraxia testing.
