Making an appointment
In order to remain responsive and safe while facing increasing demand and staff shortages, UHS has changed the way patients access our services.
We are currently operating an ‘on-the-day’ appointment system. This means that you will not be able to book appointments in advance. Instead, you can call us on the day that you want an appointment; one of our receptionists will take some details and offer you a GP callback slot, and GP will call you back. We will aim to complete your appointment by telephone or video where possible, to avoid having to bring patients into the surgery. If you need to be seen, the GP will give you a face-to-face appointment.
