At busy times it can be difficult to contact the practice by telephone, and after hours there is no one to answer the phone to routine enquiries. Registering for our online services will enable you to:
- Book, cancel or check your appointments;
- Order repeat prescriptions;
- View test results;
- View your medical record;
- Change your personal details.
Once you have been given your login details by our Reception Team you will be able to register with 1 of 3 available service providers:
It is entirely your choice which of the 3 service providers you register with, however it is worth noting that Dimec only offers an online prescription service and has no online appointment functionality.
Before you can access any of these services you must first request your login details from our Reception Team. If you have a University of Sheffield email address (i.e. an email address that ends with @sheffield.ac.uk) then you can request your login details by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org making sure to include your full name, date of birth and address. If you do not have a University of Sheffield email address, or would prefer to obtain your login details in person, you can request your login details at our Reception Desk, but please make sure you bring 2 forms of ID with you.
Once you have received your login details you can register with your chosen service provider by following the links above or in the information provided by Reception. Each provider also offers a mobile app which you may wish to download - please see the individual websites for further information.
Booking Appointments Online
Using Patient Access or Evergreen Life you can make routine appointments online to see any of our GP's, as well as making appointments for our Diabetic and Male Sexual Health clinics.
There are also a number of appointments available online for specific nurse procedures, such as cervical smears, repeat contraception and asthma reviews. It is not appropriate to book a GP appointment for these procedures so please ensure that a nurse-led appointment is booked. If you are unsure or unable to do this please telephone Reception on 0114 22 22 100 or visit the Reception desk.
For non-routine appointments, such as medicals, travel vaccinations, etc. please contact our Reception Team by telephone on 0114 22 22 100 or visit the Reception desk.
Please make sure you are booking into a suitable clinic as inappropriate appointments made online are liable to be re-arranged.
