Registration is when you formally become a member of the University of Sheffield. You will receive your UCard at registration which proves you are a student here.
Attendance at Registration is compulsory and you will receive instructions on when to register shortly before you arrive in Sheffield. You will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org in early September. Please remember to check your emails regularly (including your spam folder) and act on the information contained in the email. If you complete the necessary pre-registration steps, the process of registering with the University will be much quicker and smoother.

Registration takes place during Intro Week. This year it is 19th - 23rd September 2016.
As a result of our legal duties under Tier 4 of the Points-Based Immigration System, we are required to report students who fail to register within the expected registration period. If you know you are going to arrive late in Sheffield, it is important that you contact us in advance so that we can discuss what options are available to you.
