Registration and Intro Week
This page outlines the key registration events you must attend during intro week, what to do if you cannot attend registration, and how to set up your computer account.
Key registration events
You must attend all of the relevant registration events during intro week. Below is a list of the key events.

Module Enrolment event
If you are required to choose unrestricted modules you must attend your module enrolment event.
Main Registration event
You must attend the main registration event in Goodwin Sports Centre. Specific details can be found on the iSheffield app.
University Health Service registration
You must attend a meeting with UHS to demonstrate you are in a satisfactory state of health to register with the University. You can also register with UHS.
If you require emergency medical assistance before you have registered with a GP in Sheffield, you can:
- call 999
- visit A&E at the Northern General Hospital
During intro week you will be invited to attend a University welcome meeting which will outline the opportunities available to you throughout your studies. Dates and times will be updated on the page below.
Your department will also run a welcome meeting which will offer information about your academic department and module choices. The date and time of your meeting will be emailed to you or can be found on the iSheffield app.

As soon as you arrive in Sheffield you can log in to your computer account and connect to our Wi-Fi.
Staff from the Corporate Information and Computing Service (CiCS) will be around during Intro Week to help you.
