Thank you for taking the time to visit the Student Services Information Desk whilst you were at the University of Sheffield. We hope that we were able to answer your questions and queries.

As your visit was unplanned, you may not have had the opportunity to see everything you wished, such as accommodation or the library. This page contains useful links to information including; virtual tours of the library and accommodation, University scholarships and bursaries, and the Applicant Information Desk who will be able to answer any admissions related questions you have. Further Visits

The University offers 5 central Open Days a year. If you are unable to attend one of these, a Campus Tour is a great opportunity to have a structured visit of the Campus. Remember, if you are offered a place on a course, you will be invited to visit.

The Library

There are 5 library sites at the University, including the Information Commons (IC). The IC set a new global standard for libraries and learning spaces when it opened in 2007. Access is restricted for external visitors.

Our accommodation was voted the Best in the UK in the 2011 Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey and we've recently been named Best Student Housing at the 2012 College and University Business Officers (CUBO) awards.
