The Impact and Evaluation Team

Following a recent review, WPREU has now become The Impact and Evaluation Team (IET).

The IET sits within Student Support Services (SSS) and will support the delivery of the University’s Access and Participation Plan and conduct regular evaluations of activities carried out across SSS teams - ensuring our work is always aligned with the University’s overarching vision.

The IET will officially launch in July 2021 when you will be able to take advantage of the specialist knowledge and evaluation skill set available from across the team.

We want to help you evaluate and identify effective practice in a broad range of topics related to student success and student groups, for example:

  • BAME students
  • Care Leavers
  • Estranged students
  • Students from low participation neighbourhoods
  • Local and Commuter Students.

We want you to understand 'what works' not only at a local level, but draw on best practice from across the sector - enabling you to drive change and deliver an improved service throughout all stages of the student lifecycle.

We continue to build on the foundations developed by WPREU and can assist with questions about previous projects completed by WPREU, including reports or documents published by that team.

We look forward to working with you very soon.
