Signature of the University Secretary

The University Secretary, is vested with the authority to confirm individual student academic status and achievements. Therefore, the signature of the University Secretary is used on all such official documentation.

Delegated Signatory Authority

The University Secretary, is vested with the authority to confirm individual student academic status and achievements. Therefore, the signature of the University Secretary is used on all such official documentation. Since it is impractical for a senior executive to hand sign 50,000 individual documents a year this authority is delegated to a small number of staff including all the 15 members of staff in the SSiD.

Use of Signature Stamp

Like many large organisations which have a single official in a position of authority   that requires the frequent signing of similar documents, staff use an inked, blue, stamp signature of the University Secretary.
