Students' Harassment and Bullying Support Network

The Students' Harassment and Bullying Support Network provides, help advice and support to students who are faced with issues around harassment and bullying whether from students, staff or other parties.

The aims of the session are to:

  • Provide definitions of bullying, harassment, discrimination and victimisation
  • Outline the University's policy and legal obligations around bullying
  • Explain the role of the Harassment and Bullying Support Network
  • Clarify the roles that staff can play
  • Provide advice on identifying bullying behaviour
  • Provide case studies to develop understanding of harassment issues

There will be an opportunity during the session to work through scenarios and apply coping strategies.

Audience: Academic and support staff particularly those with a support role
