Sport Sheffield has teamed up with BetterPoints to bring you the Active January Challenge. The aim is to move for a minimum of 30 minutes in 30 days from Monday 6 January 2020 until Wednesday 5 February 2020.

How you move is completely up to you – whether you walk, run, cycle or hit the gym, keep track of your activities using the BetterPoints app and be rewarded with points that can be redeemed as vouchers to spend on campus or on the high street.

Why not try one of the free Juice activities available to all staff? These activities are a great way to keep active and try something new this January.

Boost your BetterPoints and receive 100 points if you attend a Juice session on the dates detailed below:

Couch to 5K – Thursday 16 January, 5.30pm

This is an 11-week course building up to running 5K.

Meet outside the Sports Hall, Goodwin Sports Centre, 132 Northumberland Road, S10 2TY.

Juice Cardio HIIT – Thursday 23 January, 7.45am – 8.30am

Juice Bootcamp – Monday 27 January, 5.30pm – 6.15pm

Juice Zumba – Tuesday 28 January, 1pm – 1.45pm

Juice Meditation – Wednesday 29 January, 12.15pm – 1pm

Choose 'Staff Activity' from your BetterPoints app play menu to record all of these activities on each day as detailed above.
