Volunteers required for Clearing & Adjustment Helpline 2019

The Admissions service are looking for staff volunteers in August to work on the Clearing & Adjustment helpline on A Level results day. You will be part of the team, based in the Diamond, taking calls and making offers to Clearing applicants.

Clearing & Adjustment is becoming an increasingly important aspect of student recruitment activity and your support is invaluable in allowing us to effectively manage applications and offers following the release of A Level results.

Each year, staff from across our University volunteer their time to be part of this important day for our University. This a fantastic opportunity to share in the excitement and buzz of results day and be a part of our students’ experience from the very beginning.

Training will take place on Thursday 8 August 2019 between 9am and 1.30pm. You will then join the team on the morning of Thursday 15 August 2019 from 7am, A Level results day, to receive calls and make offers to Clearing applicants.

If you are available there may be an opportunity to volunteer for further shifts on the afternoon of Thursday 15 and Friday 16 August.
