As you may know, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect from this Friday (25 May 2018). In order to comply with the new regulations, we are making changes to the way we communicate with you via email.
You need to opt in to continue receiving emails about campus news, events and much more.
Currently as a member of staff you automatically receive emails from both the all staff and myAnnounce email distribution lists, unless you have proactively opted-out of the latter.
Under the new regulations you will continue to receive strategic or critical communications, for example messages from our leadership team, important updates and information on incidents or safety concerns.
However, to ensure you still receive information about events, lectures, job vacancies, competitions, promotions and more, you now need to opt in to the Announce list. Also to continue receiving emails requesting volunteers to support with University research projects (including paid opportunities) and all other volunteering opportunities, you will also need to opt-in to the Volunteers list.
You can opt out of these lists at any time.

The Announce and Volunteers lists are a great way of keeping informed about what’s happening at our University and a chance to find out how you can get involved in some of the fantastic things on offer.
