What's On – get your events noticed
Public lectures, open days, exhibitions, conferences, performances, festivals and more.
Are you involved in organising any of the above? If so, What's On can help you promote your public events at the University.
You can add your event to the What's On web pages at any time. Your event may also be highlighted in the What's On leaflet which is published three times per year in February, June and October. With a circulation of over 5,000, the leaflet reaches all University departments, porter's lodges, local households, businesses and public places such as libraries, galleries and museums.
Submissions for both the web pages and the leaflet should be sent via the online form.
The Events Team are due to start collating material for the February–May 2020 issue of the leaflet. Please note that space is limited. However, if you have an event that you would like to be included please make sure that the details are submitted by Tuesday 3 December 2019 and the team will do their best to include it.
In addition to the leaflet, the Events Team send out regular email bulletins, featuring major events and updates.
You can follow the team on Twitter @SheffUniWhatsOn. They have over 4,000 followers and can help raise awareness of your event. If you would like them to tweet about your event, you can either send a direct message via your own Twitter account or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
