Discover international research opportunities at the annual Worldwide Universities Network briefing
This June, our University will host its annual Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) briefing session and networking lunch where staff can discover more about opportunities in international research.
WUN is a global higher education and research network made up of 23 universities, spanning 15 countries on five continents. Through international collaboration, WUN is able to create new knowledge, nurture emerging research talent and ultimately transform the world for the better.
As a leading international network, WUN aims to be a force in developing innovative solutions to some of the world’s most significant challenges.
Each year, our University has around 12 members of staff participating in new activities offered through WUN partnerships.
Organised by Global Engagement, the briefing invites all academic staff and PhD students to find out more about the funding opportunities available, the Research Development Fund and the Research Mobility Programme. They will also have the chance to talk to colleagues who have participated in the schemes and staff from Global Engagement.
The event will also explore other international staff mobility opportunities, including Erasmus+, Santander Universities and the UK-Mexico Chair scheme, followed by a networking lunch.
The WUN briefing session will take place Tuesday 26 June 2018 from 11.00am - 1.00pm in The Diamond.
Registration for the event must be completed by Wednesday 20 June.
