Making learning resources more accessible
Did you know that Blackboard Ally is a unique tool that supports an inclusive learning environment at the University?
Ally helps staff better understand accessibility, and enables students to access their learning content in a way that works best for them.
To find out more about digital accessibility, using Blackboard Ally, and about making your digital learning resources accessible, the Digital Learning Team in Academic programmes and Student Engagement (APSE) is holding a hands-on digital accessibility workshop on Monday 10 February at 10am.
Introduction to digital accessibility and digital learning resources will be held in the Elevate Hub, 210 Portobello, Elevate Hub Workshop Space.
This session will provide an overview of digital accessibility and the implications of this for how we provide digital learning resources to our students. It will include defining digital accessibility, using Blackboard Ally, and making your digital learning resources accessible.
