National Student Survey (NSS) results announced

The University's results in this year's National Student Survey (NSS) have been published today (27 July 2018).

The survey, in which final year undergraduate students across the UK have a chance to provide honest, anonymous feedback on what it’s like to study on their course and at their institution, has given our University an overall student satisfaction score of 85 per cent.

The University has been ranked as the number one institution in the Russell Group for learning community and second best for student voice by students.

Professor Wyn Morgan, our Vice-President for Education, said: “We’re always striving to provide the best possible learning experience for our students, so getting their feedback through the NSS is incredibly important to us.

“We will now use the feedback from this year’s NSS to explore how, over the coming year, we can improve on the special learning environment we have here at Sheffield. Our students are some of the brightest and most able from across the UK and the world and we’re determined to help them reach their potential, so they can achieve their ambitions.”
