Recycle your pens at the Students' Union

You can now recycle pens through the Volunteering Office in the Students' Union. Bring any pens otherwise destined for the bin.

Pens go in bulk to a recycling scheme which donates 2p per item to Brain Tumour Research and Support.

All brands and materials of biro, felt tip, marker, highlighter, mechanical pencil and correction fluid bottles can be recycled. Items not accepted: wooden pencils, wax crayons, glue sticks, erasers, rulers or scissors.

Find the Volunteering Office in the Activities Zone behind Coffee Revolution at the Students' Union. The office is open Monday-Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Also, don't forget the great range of facilities at the Recycling Hub in the Students' Union situated near Our Zero Waste Shop. You can recycle: batteries, mobile phones, printer cartridges, books, clothes and bras.
