Graduate level opportunities are now live on Career Connect, please share these with your final year students.

RISE is an innovative project run in partnership between the University, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Hallam University and delivers a package of support to SMEs in the Sheffield City Region by removing barriers to the recruitment of graduates and supporting businesses to grow. The programme also provides a diverse range of graduate level career opportunities for our graduates.

RISE has existed for over six years and in that time has appointed more than 455 graduates from universities across the UK, into 379 local SMEs in a huge variety of roles and sectors from marketing and computer science to design, engineering and project management.

The current round of graduate level opportunities are now live and being advertised on Career Connect until the 23 August. Roles include:

To apply, final year students/graduates will need to follow the application link on Career Connect to register and upload their CV. The RISE team then screens and shortlists the candidates and, if successful, they will be invited for a final interview with the SME.

Please do share these opportunities with any final year students and graduates that you are in touch with.

RISE takes place three times each year, in Autumn, Spring and Summer. Please continue to raise awareness of the scheme to your final year students and graduates, as well as any small local businesses you may work with.
