Nominate a student for the Student Employee of the Year Awards 2020
Do you employ an amazing and outstanding student part-time or casually whilst they study? Then let them know what a great job they are doing by nominating them for the Student Employee of the Year Awards 2020!
This national competition is open to all students who work part-time whilst they study, and the Careers Service want to ensure that our students gain the recognition they deserve for the hard work that they do within the University and the Students’ Union. They are looking for exceptional students who have made a real contribution to your area of work. There are several categories to nominate in;
This category rewards groups of part-time working students who have shown excellent team working and communication skills to come together for a shared project. These students deliver business objectives collectively, as a team.
Above and Beyond
This award recognises an outstanding student who has/is making a huge impact working in your department by going above and beyond on a regular basis.
Step Up to Leadership
This award recognises a student who has demonstrated leadership skills by taking responsibility for projects or departments etc. Perhaps they have been promoted, or they supervise other staff, provide training, take the initiative, or displaying accountability and creative thinking to leading the project.
This award recognises a student who has made a big commercial impact. This student will have increased profit, generated new business, developed an enterprising idea spotting new opportunities, engaged with new audiences, or introduced a money saving scheme.
As you’ll know - students can really add something to a department, and the growth in the Student Employee of the Year awards year on year shows that employers want to recognise this. By nominating your students for an award you can help them to ‘stand out from the crowd’ and don't forget, they too can nominate you as the Student Employer of the Year!
Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 27 March 2020.
