Staff and Alumni group stage classic rom-com in the Drama Studio

The Sheffield University Drama Society (SUDS) is an amateur dramatics group made up of current University staff, students, alumni and their families and friends. The society aims to present around two or three plays per year and their last performance, 'The Cherry Orchard', was well attended by the University community.

As well as performances, the Society arranges regular play-readings in members homes, theatre visits and social gatherings such as parties and quizzes. To find out more about joining SUDS click here.

The next SUDS production:

She Stoops to Conquer

by Oliver Goldsmith

University Drama Studio, Glossop Road.
Wed 11 - Sat 14 April 2018 at 7.30pm.

This rumbustious rom-com has made people roar with laughter since its first performance in 1773. Set over the course of a single night, this fast-paced classic has whip-smart dialogue, mistaken identities a-plenty, knock-about farce, and some of the funniest comic scenes in the repertoire. Pretty frocks and powdered wigs too. Suitable for all ages.

Tickets at £9 for full price and £7 for concessions.

You can reserve tickets by e-mailing or phoning 0114 255 3417.

Unreserved tickets will be available at the Drama Studio from 7pm before each performance.
