Join the Sheffield 10K Scanner team

Are you looking for a physical challenge? Maybe you’re an experienced runner and looking to get back into the running scene or you’ve never run a 10K before. Now is your chance to tackle the Sheffield 10K and raise money for the Sheffield Scanner.

Our University has 20 charity places for staff to take part in the Run for All Sheffield 10K on Sunday 23 September 2018. Places are open to runners of all abilities, who will relish the challenge of running 10k and fundraising for the Scanner. So far, thanks to the efforts and generosity of staff, students, alumni and stakeholders, £1.7 million has been raised, the Sheffield 10k is a great opportunity to get us towards the £2 million total.

The Sheffield 10K starts in Arundel Gate in the heart of the city and takes runners on a route along Charter Row and Ecclesall Road, before skirting the edges of the pretty Endcliffe Park. It continues along Riverdale Road, followed by Endcliffe Vale Road, past the Endcliffe Village, then down Brocco Bank and back to the city centre.

We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible if you’re interested in securing one of our charity places, to avoid disappointment. We will contact you by email to confirm your place.
