The Sheffield Universities' Managing Directors' Club (MD Club) is pleased to deliver its next event with the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering: Learning from innovations tackling the global food sustainability challenge
Did you know that each MD Club event has at least 50 percent attendance from some of the region's most innovative companies looking to further their partnerships with both universities?
Sustainability is a multi-faceted issue within which the food production system plays a crucial role and research is on the rise. Both Sheffield universities have research expertise in this area with new facilities and flagships including the University of Sheffield Institute for Sustainable Food and the Sheffield Hallam University National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering. Our upcoming event focuses on how we can learn from these exciting innovations in food sustainability and consider how they can be translated into other sectors.
At this event, you'll hear from a leading professional in sustainability and leading academics from both Sheffield universities who are at the forefront of sustainability research. Upcoming entrepreneurs will also be speaking about how they have been successful after benefiting from University support.
This event provides the opportunity to:
- Explore innovations from Sheffield City Region businesses and be inspired by how this technology and expertise can be translated into different sectors
- Network and share knowledge with Sheffield City Region businesses to spark future partnership ideas
- Tour world-class research facilities at the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering
