Celebrate your student employees at the Student Employee of the Year 2018

Do you employ a student who deserves recognition for all the hard work they have done within the University? Nominations are now open for the Student Employee of the Year awards 2018.

The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) awards are a national competition that celebrates the outstanding contributions and achievements of students who combine part-time work with their study commitments.

Nominate your student to recognise their exceptional contribution to your department, enhance their CV and future job applications, and have a positive impact on their confidence when they join the job market after graduation.

Students can be nominated in several categories:

Above and Beyond

This award recognises an outstanding student who has made a huge impact working in your department by going above and beyond on a regular basis.

Step Up to Leadership

This award recognises a student who has demonstrated leadership skills by taking responsibility for projects or departments. They may have been promoted, supervised other staff or provided training. They’ve taken the initiative or displayed accountability and creative thinking when leading a project.

Commercial Impact

This award recognises a student who has made a big commercial impact. This student will have increased profit, generated new business, developed an enterprising idea, engaged with new audiences, or introduced a money saving scheme.
