Student Lifecycle Project update for academic departments
Do you work in an academic department? Do you hold an academic, learning and teaching, student support, administrative or managerial role? Do you want to understand more about the new services we’re introducing to students in 2020? If so, these events are for you.
With approximately six months before the first new student-facing service is due to launch and less than 12 months before the major move of the student record into our new student system, SITS, you and your departmental colleagues are invited to attend an open-to-all showcase event.
The same initial session is being run five times over the Autumn. To ensure this is enough and we have the right sized rooms booked, please indicate which slot you would like to attend before the 25 October 2019. The sessions are:
30 October 10am - 11am, Council Room, Firth Court
6 November 12pm - 1pm, Hadfield Building, James White
11 November 1pm - 2pm, LT5, Hicks
13 November 3pm - 4pm, Council Room, Firth Court
22 November 11am - 12pm, The Diamond, Workroom 1
The process of changing the way we deliver such a wide range of services is not a simple one; staff in academic departments are the most likely to be impacted by more than one service change and we all want to ensure everyone feels ready. Consequently, there will be more events running over the coming year, please sign up to our newsletter for updates.
We hope as many of you as possible will join us at these events.
