Celebrating summer graduation 2018

Graduation mugs

This week is summer graduation week, a time to celebrate the success of our students as well as the dedication and hard work of colleagues across the University.

From those who have taught and supported our students, to the people working to make our campus look stunning, and everyone behind the scenes - we’d like to say a huge thank you for preparing a spectacular week.

Dr Charis Bronze, Widening Participation Officer at the Faculty of Engineering said: “I feel that working at graduation ceremonies is a brilliant way to complete the circle of the University experience for our students. Graduation days are wonderful for not only the students graduating, but their families, friends and supporters to share in celebration too.

“I'm looking forward to celebrating with the student ambassadors I work with on a daily basis and everyone else who has worked so hard for their degrees - a huge well done to them all!”

We’ll be out meeting colleagues, students and parents throughout the week. Follow @sheffunistaff and @sheffielduni, where we’ll be posting videos and updates.

Our photographer E.S. Kwon will also be posting regularly on the University Instagram page.

You can also share your experiences with us and follow all the activity with #ShefUniGrad.
