The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies 2018
The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies 2018 survey launches on 2 October 2017.
"For the last two years, we have been placed in The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For List.
"We have again registered to be considered for the 2018 list, which allows us to benchmark against other top, leading organisations.
"Completion of the survey is optional, however it is important to us that we receive feedback from you on the range of questions involved in the survey. This will enable us to continue to strive to create a workplace where colleagues can succeed, become leaders in their fields and make a real impact in the world.
"The previous lists were compiled from feedback from an independent survey which was sent to one third of colleagues across the University.
"Best Companies Limited will again randomly select 30 per cent of colleagues to complete the anonymous and confidential survey this October.”
Professor Gill Valentine, Interim Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Andrew Dodman, Chief Operating Officer.

The data-gathering and analysis used across all sectors are extensive. The views of 270,429 employees have determined the rankings in all our lists. So it’s the staff themselves, the people whose hard work builds the success of these organisations - whether they’re lawyers, mechanics or shop assistants - who are giving opinions about their employers and their working environments. And once a company is on one of The Times’ Best 100 lists, they have to work hard to stay there. In all, 857 organisations registered to take part in this year’s survey and there are 82 new entries on our final line-up of 330, displacing many from previous years who failed to make the grade this time. |
