Value for Money Award for Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health
Congratulations to colleagues from our Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health who have been recognised for their commitment to providing value for money across their work.
The Value for Money award is an annual prize presented by our University Audit Committee for projects and initiatives that are innovative, deliver long-term sustainability and that are linked to our University strategy.
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health has been selected for its success in conducting ongoing reviews of and adjustments to its PGT programmes, resulting in projected savings of £500,000 for 2017/18 onwards.
Steph Allen, Department Manager for Oncology and Metabolism and Deputy Faculty Director of Operations, collected the award on behalf of the faculty.
The Audit Committee is a committee of our University Council, overseeing risk management, control and governance arrangements and value for money.
