#BeBoldForChange: celebrate each other's achievements
Professor Julie Gray nominates her colleagues in Women@TUoS Network.
"Women@TUoS network provides an extensive programme of events to support and promote the position of women in our University.
"This member-led initiative is run by women, for women. Each year a Chair is selected from the steering group – previously (pictured) Lynne and Rhonda at the back; myself, Jane and Caitlin in front.
"In addition to organising annual lectures and the University's International Women’s Day celebrations, network Chairs have delivered frequent workshops and activities to support women.
"The work of the Network is widely recognised as sector-leading with current and past chairs receiving invitations to speak nationally and internationally about their work.
"Women@TUoS was initially launched with aim of supporting female academics in STEM subjects but it soon became apparent that the activities offered were needed by women across the organisation. The Network expanded rapidly and now works to support over 700 women in academic, research, teaching, professional, administrative amd leadership roles across the entire University."
