Your wellbeing stories and research

Staff health and wellbeing is an important priority for our University; many of you will have accessed support and inspiration for your wellbeing, both physical and emotional, via Juice.

8–14 May 2017 marks Mental Health Awareness Week and to support this, we asked you to share your personal stories of cultivating wellbeing, as well as any wellbeing or mental health related research you may be involved with.

Organised by the Mental Health Foundation, this year's Mental Health Awareness Week campaign explores how we can cultivate good mental health, with a focus on the strategies and resources we need to re-frame our ability to thrive in life.

In our most recent staff survey 76 per cent of respondents said they would be comfortable discussing a mental health and wellbeing issue with their manager. We're happy to be continuing this sense of openness by sharing your stories.
