We are looking for talented students to share their experiences and insights about life at the University of Sheffield. Whatever your course and year of study, we want you to get involved.
What do I have to do?
As a University of Sheffield Blogger, you’ll write about student life for the official University of Sheffield Student Blog.
You can talk about anything you want, good or bad. So long as it is connected to your university experience, you can share it. All we ask is that you submit 6 blog posts by the end of Semester 2 in June - that's roughly one a month.
Additionally, you will also have the chance to help us produce social media content throughout the year for the @shefunistudents Instagram account.
What’s in it for me?
By completing six posts over the course of the year, you will earn extra curricular credit towards your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). We’ll also give you a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank you for each post you write (up to the value of £60 per year).
Also, there will be opportunities to learn new skills, build up your CV, and get involved in some exciting University events and projects.
How do I sign up?
We recruit new bloggers at the start of each academic year. You will be able to register your interest on this page when the application window opens.
