Extra sessions added to 301's Academic Skills Workshop programme
Would you like to make the most of your studies to get the best possible grades? Then 301 is here to help!
Due to popular demand, additional sessions have been added to our programme of Academic Skills Workshops for Semester 1. Topics include:
- Exam revision planning
- Performing well in essay-based and short answer exams
- Mind mapping for memory
- Critical thinking
- Managing your time effectively
We’ve recently added a new workshop topic to our wide range of activities, with the first sessions taking place before Christmas.
‘Making the Most of Feedback’ will give you techniques to develop an effective strategy for putting your assessment feedback into action.
Whether you’ve handed in your first assignment and are waiting for feedback, or you’re attempting to improve on past academic work, it’s important that you understand the feedback you receive before you can apply it to future assignments.
All workshops take place at the 301 Student Skills and Development Centre located at 301 Glossop Road (opposite the Bar One entrance of the Students' Union) on various days and times to suit you.
Places are limited, so make sure you guarantee your place by booking now through the 301 website.
