Cycle parking to change during concourse improvements
As part of the University concourse improvements, we are opening up the space beneath the A57 flyover between Alfred Denny and the Students’ Union. This means removing the cycle hoops from week commencing 19 March 2018.
Replacement cycle parking will be available adjacent to the Alfred Denny building (20 spaces) and in the Cycle Hub (168 spaces) which you can access with your U-card.
Once the concourse project is complete in July, the Alfred Denny cycle parking will be made permanent. Currently access to the Cycle Hub, which also has changing facilities, showers and lockers, is via Leavy Greave (from Western Bank or Glossop Road).
Please remove any bikes or locks before the work takes place. Any bikes or D-locks left on the cycle hoops after 19 March will be stored for two weeks and will be available for collection. Contact EFM’s Eric Bohun to discuss: email@example.com.
