Global SoundtracksUniversity of Sheffield Concerts is pleased to announce Global Soundtracks - a year-long programme of the very best in world, roots, and folk music. Our new international series features Zambian afro-folk, Mali's Ngoni wizard: Bassekou Kouyate, Russian and Hungarian folk, inspiration from Argentinian travels, Indian improvisation and reverberant ragas, contemporary takes on ancient Persian music, and traditional music closer to home with UK artists Fay Hield and the Hurricane Party, and Cara Dillon.
