Managing Health Worries as a student

We all worry about our health from time to time, but sometimes these worries can be overwhelming. They can dominate our thinking, change the way we behave, and stop us enjoying day-to-day life. If you feel like you are experiencing this, support is available.

Sheffield Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service is offering students access to a course to learn how to manage their health worries.

The four week course involves four two hour sessions, starting at 2.30pm on Wednesday 26 February. It will be held in Sheffield Hallam University Cantor Building.

You can book your free place online here or by calling 0114 271 6568.

If you’re not sure if this support is suitable for you, there is a range of advice and support available through your GP or consultant or by ringing IAPT on 0114 271 6568.
