Win a paid internship by taking part in 'The Intern'
If you've ever watched the Apprentice and though "I could do better than that" then the Intern could be the competition for you.
Run by Enactus Sheffield, the Intern tests a variety of skills which employers are looking for, including leadership, creativity, problem solving and entrepreneurship. The ultimate prize is a paid summer internship with either ASDA, Centrica or Enterprise Rent-a-Car, all of which are recognised by the Times as being among the top 100 graduate employers.
You will use creativity, commercial awareness, marketing, negotiating and other skills to face five demanding challenges. During the final of the competition, the sponsor companies host both one-to-one interviews and mini assessment centres to determine the winners. The feedback you will receive as part of this final stage will be of high value if you are considering applying for high demand graduate jobs after graduation. Watch our Youtube video to find out more about what the competition involves.
The Intern competition is open to all students from any degree background. Taking part will count towards your Sheffield Graduate Award and will take place during term time of Semester 2.
If you would like to take part in this amazing opportunity, we're holding an introductory talk on Tuesday 24 February, Arts Tower, LT5, 5.30pm.
