Plan your open day visit

Make the most of your department open day and come along to our Experience Sheffield Exhibition. It's your chance to speak to our staff and students, go on tours of the campus and facilities and find out what Sheffield is all about.

It's your day

Prospective students at an open day

We’ve tried to make things as flexible as possible. The only thing that's fixed is the time of your department visit. This is your chance to learn more about your course and department, meet our staff and students and find out what it's like to study here. Your department will send you an itinerary for this part of your day.

For the rest of the day join us in the exhibition where you can get advice from our exhibitors, chat to our student ambassadors or take a variety of tours.

Even if you have already seen our accommodation, the exhibition is your chance to take a guided tour from a current student resident who will show you their own flat and answer any questions you may have. Or if you would like to see more of our campus, join one of our student ambassadors on a guided campus tour where you can find out about some of the central University buildings.

We would recommend allowing between 2 to 2 1/2 hours to see our exhibition and take some of the available tours.
