Aerospace Engineering taster session
This taster session gives you an insight into studying Aerospace Engineering at university.

Aerospace Engineering: from Kites to Satellites
Like the industry, Aerospace Engineering at Sheffield is interdisciplinary. You'll be taught by experts in aerospace materials, aerodynamics, flight control systems, avionics, aircraft design, aero propulsion, management and applied mathematics.
This talk is no exception. Simon’s expertise is in aerospace materials and he will explore the history of flight and how it has progressed over the years with you.
You will hear from our current students about their learning experiences and will have a chance to ask any questions to both Simon and our students.
When: Tuesday 10 May 2022, 4.30pm - 6.00pm
Age group: Year 12 and Year 13
