Optimizing your future with Chemical Engineering

A free virtual taster session for  Y12 students.

When: Wednesday 28 April 2021, 16:00 - 17:30 

Places available: 50

Age group: Year 12, and mature students


This session will explain what chemical engineers do and how their work is impacting global issues like energy and sustainability. You will have the opportunity to design a bioethanol production plant and explore the trade-offs between manufacturing costs and the quality of the product.

Finally, we will discuss the process of applying for University, and our student ambassadors will answer your questions about moving to University.
