Taster Session with the MiRo Robot

Please be advised that bookings for all taster sessions will close at 10am the day before the session, or earlier if the session becomes fully-booked. We therefore recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

If you are a teacher, please encourage your pupils to book individually.


When: Thursday 18 November 2021, 4:00 - 5:30pm

Age group: Year 12, Year 13, A Level

This session is now full. 


We will start with a brief introduction on a special web-based MiRo robot simulator, MiRoCloud. Afterwards, you will get a chance to practice their programming skills, with support from the tutor. We will use the Blockly coding interface to program a MiRo robot to do some simple tasks in a virtual world.

No prior experience in coding/robotics is necessary.
