GRM in Sheffield: 12/13 June 2019.

USSS are very excited to announce a special 'event' funded by the French Embassy. The Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) are coming to Sheffield on the 12th and 13th June. We are holding a series of presentations and demonstrations listed below. These events are invite only but if you'd like to attend, please do email Adam Stanovic (a.j.stanovic@shef.ac.uk). We have limited seating. All events are free.


Wednesday 12th June (invite only: please email Adam to let him know if you would like to be on the guest list)

  • 10am – 1pm – Emmanuel Richier – demonstration of GRMTools mainly spaces + new GRMPlayer
  • 1pm – 1:30pm – Adrian Moore – demonstration of USSS tools
  • 1:30pm – lunch at Interval
  • 3:00pm – 3:30 – Rees Archibald – presentation of PhD research
  • 3:30pm – 4:15 – James Surgenor – demonstration of superdiffuse
  • 4:15 – 5:00 – Ian Baxter – demonstration of work on time-scales
  • 5:05 – close and refreshments
