Helping you create effective digital and social media content at the University.

New CMS training

There are currently two Content Management Systems (CMS) that serve our public-facing University web pages - the Legacy CMS and new CMS.

If you're not sure which CMS your website is using, please check the site directory.

New CMS Content types

When creating a page for your website you need to select a Content type. The Content type defines the base template, initial content and components used for the new page. Content types help you to organise and update your content more efficiently.

New CMS components

Websites contain numerous types of building blocks, such as promo boxes, news feeds and course cards. These components help you to build effective layouts and maintain a consistent visual style across your website.
