Add small partner or third-party logos to your website.

Before you insert a logo
- Verify you have permission to use the third-party logo on your website
- Obtain a high resolution version of the logo
- Upload it as an image to your Group media library
- Adjust the crops - the 16:9 one is used for the logo on the website*
- Fill in the New logo request form
- You will receive an email to confirm that the logo is available in the bank of logos
- Insert it using the instructions below
*If you are struggling to crop your logo effectively then do your best and flag any issues on the New logo request form so we can help
Add a logo to the footer of all pages in your Group
Group owners can add a blue banner above the main footer on all pages with their Group website. It contains one or more logos which link to a website, plus some accompanying text.

Here's how to activate the banner:
- Ensure the required logo/s are added to the bank of logos (see 'Before you insert a logo' box above)
- Go to the Edit tab in your Group
- At the bottom of the form select 'Add Logos'
- Insert a sentence of accompanying text in the box to explain why there are extra logos on your pages. For example, the text might say 'The Global Solutions 2025 Project is a collaboration between the University of Sheffield, the University of Springfield and Gotham City University' or 'Our academic partners:'
- Use the lookup to search for a logo from the bank. You can add more than one. The University of Sheffield logo is also available so, if relevant, consider inserting this as the first logo
- Reorder the logos as required
- Save
To remove the logos banner from your Group, press the Remove button in the logos section of the Edit tab in your Group.
Add logos to Home and Hub pages
Add a banner showing one or more logos to the top area or footer of a Home or Hub. It contains one or more logos which link to a website, plus some accompanying text.
Here's how to activate this banner:
- Ensure the required logo/s are added to the bank of logos (see 'Before you insert a logo' box above)
- Open a Home or Hub and click to edit it
- Open the 'Logos banner' accordion
- Insert a sentence of accompanying text in the box to explain why there are extra logos on your pages. For example, the text might say 'The Global Solutions 2025 Project is a collaboration between the University of Sheffield, the University of Springfield and Gotham City University' or 'Our academic partners:'
- Click 'Add Logos'
- Use the lookup to search for a logo from the bank. You can add more than one. The University of Sheffield logo is also available so, if relevant, consider inserting this as the first logo
- Reorder the logos as required
- Choose the position of the logo banner: top or bottom of the page
- Save
To remove the full logos banner from your Home or Hub, press to Edit the logo banner then press the three dots next to the Collapse button and choose Remove.
